The great Indian Thar desert is in the northwest region of the Indian subcontinent and a vast arid region. If I talk about the area, it is about 200000 sq km. During partition, around 85% of the desert remained in India, and the rest of 15% is in Pakistan now. There is also an international boundary between India and Pakistan.
